The Company executed the largest deepwater environmental sampling event for Trinidad and Tobago (1,700 - 2,200 m depth). A total of 103 stations were assessed for seasonal sediment chemistry and benthic macro fauna and a further 19 stations for water quality assessment. Three deep water met ocean systems were deployed for a year with retrievals taking place quarterly. Geophysical and geotechnical cores were also obtained throughout the 7 deep water blocks, using jumbo piston cores (JPCs) and CPT-stingers. A total of 21 JPCs and 25 CPTs were acquired at water depths ranging from 1,666 to 2,339 m.
